Discussions with our customers have shown that often fast response to temperature changes can prove vital for improving plant efficiency. For example, during Ultra High Temperature (UHT) treatment, the process temperature must be kept above a certain setpoint; otherwise, the batch may have to be abandoned.  To minimise energy usage, the closer to the setpoint the process operates, the lower the energy required.

The new iTHERM QuickSens offers the quickest response times (t90 = 0.75 s) in the market. The combination of precise, fast and stable temperature measurement delivers the highest degree of process control. With reduced minimum immersion lengths, this technology can be used to meet the strictest installation requirements.
